Terms of Service

Effective June 26, 2026 · Last updated June 26, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Healld mobile application (the "App"), operated by MobileByteSensei ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Healld. By using the App you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Healld is not medical advice

Healld is a self-help wellbeing tool, not a medical service. It does not provide medical, psychological, or psychiatric advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified health professional. Nothing in the App creates a clinician–patient relationship.

Healld is not for emergencies. It does not monitor you and cannot provide help in a crisis. If you are experiencing a mental-health emergency, are thinking about harming yourself, or are in danger, contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline immediately. Always seek the advice of a qualified professional with any questions about your health.

You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on content in the App. See also the Medical Disclaimer.

3. Your account

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us at mobilebytesensei@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised use. You may delete your account at any time from the App's settings — see Account & Data Deletion.

4. Acceptable use

When using the App — including any community features — you agree not to:

  • harass, threaten, abuse, or harm other users;
  • post content that is unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, or that promotes self-harm;
  • impersonate others or share another person's private information;
  • attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the App or its systems;
  • use the App for any unlawful purpose.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Community content is moderated, but we do not pre-screen all content and are not responsible for content posted by users.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create in the App (journal entries, assessments, posts, etc.). For content you choose to share in community features, you grant us a limited licence to host and display it within the App so the feature can function. We do not claim ownership of your private wellbeing data. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Subscriptions and purchases

The App may offer paid features. Where applicable, purchases are processed by the relevant app store (Google Play / Apple App Store) under their terms, and billing, renewals, and refunds are subject to those store policies. Prices and feature availability may change.

7. Intellectual property

The App, its design, code, content (excluding your content), trademarks, and the Healld name are owned by MobileByteSensei and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any outcome will result from its use.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MobileByteSensei and its providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or to comply with law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. Sections 2, 5, 7, 8) will survive.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the courts of competent jurisdiction in India, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the App evolves. We will revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide an in-app notice. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
