Medical Disclaimer & Crisis Resources
Effective June 26, 2026
If you are in crisis right now, stop reading this page. Call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, US), text HOME to 741741 (Crisis Text Line), call KIRAN 1800-599-0019 (India), or contact your local emergency services. You deserve support from a real person, right away.
1. What Healld is
Healld is a wellness support tool. It helps you reflect on your moods, sleep, stress and habits, offers evidence-informed self-help exercises drawn from approaches like CBT, DBT, CBT-I and mindfulness, and rolls what you track into a single Healld Score so you can see patterns over time. It is designed to complement — never replace — professional mental health care.
2. What Healld is not
- Not a medical device. Healld has not been evaluated, cleared, or approved by any medical regulator.
- Not diagnosis. In-app check-ins use questionnaires developed by clinical researchers (such as PHQ-9 and GAD-7), and their severity bands follow published research — but a score in Healld is never a diagnosis. Only a qualified professional can diagnose a mental-health condition.
- Not therapy or treatment. Journeys, breathwork, journaling prompts and insights are self-help exercises. They are not psychotherapy, counselling, or a treatment plan, and no clinician–patient relationship is created by using the App.
- Not an emergency or monitoring service. Healld does not watch over you in real time and cannot dispatch help. Its crisis features exist to hand you off to real support faster — they are not a safety net by themselves.
3. How Healld behaves around crisis
Because this matters, here is exactly what the App does — and does not do — when things look serious:
- Certain signals — such as a concerning answer on the PHQ-9 self-assessment or a very low Healld Score — cause the App to set aside its normal flow and show crisis support options instead.
- The crisis screen offers one-tap access to crisis lines (988 in the US, Crisis Text Line, KIRAN in India), your saved trusted contact, and a 60-second grounding exercise. Hotline numbers are stored on your device so they work without a network connection.
- Tapping a call option opens your phone's dialer — the App itself never places calls, sends messages, or contacts anyone on your behalf.
- The App records only that a crisis resource was shown (the trigger type and severity) to improve safety features — never the content of what you wrote or answered. See the Privacy Policy.
4. Your responsibility
Always seek the advice of a physician, therapist, or other qualified health provider with any questions about a medical or mental-health condition. Never disregard professional advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read or a score you saw in Healld. If any exercise in the App feels wrong for you, stop and talk to a professional.
