Community Rules
Part of the Terms of Service · Effective June 26, 2026
Healld's community exists so nobody has to feel alone with what they're carrying. It only works if it stays safe. These rules apply to everything you post — stories, replies, and reactions — and they are part of our Terms of Service.
1. The one rule behind all the rules
Post as if the person reading is having their hardest day this year — because sometimes they are. Kindness isn't optional here; it's the whole point.
2. Always allowed
- Sharing your own experience, at whatever depth feels right;
- Supporting others with empathy and encouragement;
- Talking about therapy, medication, and recovery honestly;
- Disagreeing respectfully — different things help different people;
- Posting anonymously-in-spirit: share as little identity as you like.
3. Never allowed
- Encouraging self-harm — content that promotes, instructs, or romanticises self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders is removed immediately;
- Harassment — bullying, threats, mockery, or piling onto another member;
- Hate — attacks on people for who they are: identity, faith, orientation, disability, or anything else;
- Doxxing — sharing anyone's private information, including your own contact details;
- Medical instructions — telling someone to start, stop, or change medication or treatment. Share your experience, not prescriptions;
- Spam and promotion — advertising, link-farming, fundraising, or recruiting;
- Sexually explicit or unlawful content of any kind.
4. How moderation works
- Every post and reply carries a report action — reports are reviewed and acted on, and automated moderation runs continuously alongside them;
- We do not pre-screen everything, so you may occasionally see something before we do — please report it;
- Consequences scale: content removal → warning → suspension → permanent ban. Content encouraging self-harm skips the ladder;
- Moderation decisions can be appealed by emailing mobilebytesensei@gmail.com.
5. If someone seems to be in danger
If a post makes you worry someone might hurt themselves, report it — that routes it for priority review. If it's you: call or text 988 (US), text HOME to 741741, or call KIRAN 1800-599-0019 (India). The community is a warm place, but it is not a crisis service.
6. Privacy in the community
Community posts are visible to other Healld users — they are the one part of the app that isn't private to you. Don't post anything you wouldn't want read aloud. Everything else you track in Healld stays yours; see the Privacy Policy.
